Technical Support Specialist (Davao Based)

* Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems;
* Introduce and integrate new technologies into the existing data center environments;
* Perform routine audits of systems and software;
* Perform backups;
* Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes;
* Install and configure new hardware and software;
* Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, etc.
* Answer technical queries;
* Document the configuration of the system;
* Troubleshoot any reported problems;
* Perform system performance tuning;
* Ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running.


* Must be residents of Davao City;
* BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or its equivalent;
* With at least three (3) years of extensive experience as System Administrator;
* Must be proficient with the Installation, configuration and administration of operating systems (Linux, FreeBSD, Windows), application software and server software both proprietary and open source;
* Proficient in System security and working knowledge of shell scripting;
* Must have the working experience in setting up SMTP (Postfix), QMail), DNS, Samba, LDAP, Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), FTP, Proxy.
