Sales Engineer for Davao
(Southern Mindanao – Davao)

Responsibilities:
The position’s objective is to achieve personal and the division’s sales targets by selling and promoting assigned product range to an area assigned, using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to convince customers and assist them in applying the products/solutions to their needs resulting in revenue generation.

Major Responsibilities

Ensure the meeting of sales budget and the generation of revenue, developing and delivering sales presentations and closing of sales in a professional and effective manner by:

1. Following up on sales leads, referrals and making regular and well-organized sales/cold calls on potential customers
2. Making company/product presentations and assessing the customers’ needs
3. Explain and demonstrate products/services to customers which may involve providing technical solutions and concepts
4. Preparing estimates, pricing, proposal and submitting and presenting proposals/offers based on the customer’s requirement, negotiating prices and credit terms, preparing contracts and recording orders.
5. To ensure effective market planning & continued revenue stream by participating in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by:
6. Being aware of product & service marketability in terms of industry trends, customers’ technical & manufacturing needs as well as government regulations
7. Maintaining an up-to-date awareness of strategic plans and procedures to coordinate market plans
8. Regularly updating promotional / sales materials to target identified customers
9. Monitoring, analyzing, & reporting monthly sales data to contribute to product/service planning during sales meetings and discussions.

Secondary Functions
1. Pass on inquiries/request of “other” products/services/matters to the concerned department
2. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in ECE, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing.
2. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Heavy equipments and other industrial products such as cranes is an advantage
3. Applicants must be willing to work in Davao.
4. Knowledgeable in hydraulics is preferred
5. Excellent Sales skills: presales, sales negotiaion and closing techniques
6. Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
7. Marketing & market planning knowledge
8. In-depth knowledge of target market industries and territory
9. Class 3 driving license; preferrably with own car
10. Able to work without direct supervision
11. Neat, hygienic and professional appearance
12. Works well in a team environment
13. 1 Full-Time position available.
