The cost control Assistant supports the Cost Controller in all his duties according to the JV procedures, standards and quality management
Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills and fluent in English
Construction sector would be an asset but not compulsory
This role requires the following preferred competency:
Assists with the preparation of budgets of his management zone
Records day to day CC data’s in the software SIRI according to the breakdown of costs mentioned on the documents
Check on site month-end activity declaration & inventories, storage area inventories and inform the Cost Controller about any discrepancies detected
Performs purchase & inventory reconciliations with the Procurement Department software’s, labor reconciliations with the HR Department
Fill in the CC tool regate with the information’s granted in point 2
Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly CC reports
Maintains updated filing system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in Finance and/or Accounting (bachelor or master)
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
Preferably local in Qatar or from Dubai.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assists with the preparation of budgets of his management zone
Validates datas in the software SIRI
Liaises with the Production, Technical, HR, Contract & Procurement Departments to monitor activity declaration and expenditures
Coordinates the monthly forecasts with the engineers, performs financial analysis and reports the variances to budgets encountered (end of month and end of site) using the CC tool REGATE
Prepares on a timely basis for the cost control meeting the monthly report of his management zone
Ensures appropriate application of internal control procedures
Supervises the CC staff of his management zone
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in Finance and/or Accounting (bachelor or master)
