50 Call Center Agents

JOB SUMMARY:

Outbound activities of a call center are not limited to selling products and services over the telephone. It also refers to e-mail and text messages sent to customers. However, telemarketing indeed forms a substantial part of outbound call center operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Answer incoming telephone calls while using your computer to find information.
2. Help customers resolve issues with the client’s products.
3. Function comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment where calls are monitored, recorded, and assessed to see if you meet required performance levels.
4. Conduct yourself and answer customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Calling up customers on a wrong time may make them annoyed, thus become an intrusion and the chances of making a successful transaction becomes extremely slim.
5. Sales agents in a call center need to be fluent in speech, persuasive, motivated and resilient to successfully see a call through and, ultimately, make a sale.
6. Answer incoming telephone calls with little to no break in between calls.
7. Search for information or type documentation into web based computer programs while talking to customers on the phone .
8. The agent must be attentive – not only good in talking but also in listening. Each telephone call should be a conversation. This way, agents will have a greater chance of closing a sale.
9. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE:

• College level
• Technical skills (Computer literacy)
o Experienced in using a Windows-based personal computer
o Experienced in using the Internet
o Able to maintain your own computer equipment and both Internet and telephone connectivity
• Able to multitask on a personal computer while conducting phone conversations
• Successfully complete training and attain required performance levels within a specified period of time
• Pleasant telephone manner
• Dependable

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal skills, including grammar and voice quality
